To Morton’s in Mayfair’s Berkley Square for the first HedgeBrunch of 2014! 150 guests from the London Hedge Fund and wider alternative investment world came together for the afternoon on what was a glorious spring day. Welcomed with a glass on the unique Harry Brompton’s London Ice tea guests joined from 12pm and mixed with people from across the industry until the early evening.
Kicking off in the members bar on the ground floor of the club where sponsors Jersey Finance, Murano Connect, Peregrine Communications and St James’s Place’s Mckenzie and Martyn Sullivan Wealth Management mixed with a wide range of people. After some initial how-do-you-dos, the party moved to the first floor where Brunch was served in the club’s luxurious dining room. Looking out onto Berkley Square with the spring sunshine pouring through the grand bay windows and guests enjoying the open balcony, this could not have been a better setting for the occasion.
As always the brunch was accompanied by entertainment – this time in the form of top London DJ James Hoste – who played the perfect mix to keep the party going. The day ended with the hard and fast party-goers in Morton’s 2&8 basement club.
