Our 3rd Annual festive afternoon event in London was a delightful finale to the year which saw over 150 London hedgies join us at the head-quarters of St George’s in Berkely sq, Mayfair. The end of term spirit was in full force with people dropping in throughout the afternoon to enjoy catching up before the holiday break.
Guests were welcomed with chilled Perrier Jouet Champagne plus Alpha, Beta and Hedge cocktails from the team at Create Cocktails and, as the afternoon reached full swing around 1.30pm, famed Soho restaurant L’Escargot provided delicious eats.
Team Krzana took over the big screen for the event and spent much of the afternoon showing off their recently launched and highly impressive real-time analytics software platform. It brings tailored live data streams into an easily digestible deck – whilst recently launched we can see this being hugely useful for both the long hold and intra-day trader, especially when it comes to risk-management. Thankfully, Chivas Regal were well on hand to help the story be told and with tastings of the special 12, 18 and 25 Year old throughout the afternoon.
This season can be tough on body and mind, especially as it gets closer to Christmas day and the parties have stacked up, so our friends at The Refinery were on hand to freshen up the most tired of festive faces in their pop up salon. Much needed respite for more than a few guests. Feeling sharp was then complimented by looking sharp as rising-star tailor Haneesh Jangra of Hanmire took us through the sharpest of cuts coming in 2016.
Guests from across the hedge spectrum abounded – attending his 3rd Annual HB Christmas John King, of Apex Capital Introduction Services said “Another stellar event, the afternoon setup is great for this time of year and it’s well worth coming down”.
